About American valuble culture.

1. for this topic, i want toi talk about American valuble culture. Everybody know America has not very long history, but their history influence a lot. I am going to talk about religion in America, the Western pioneer, how the Western frontier spirt influnce USA, the life in America, the culture pluralism,the immigrants of America and the ethnic in America. Also i am going to talk about my own opinion about America.

2. Religion is important for America, you can see many churchs on the way, is very normal. I think more than 85%people in America , they have their own beliefs. But many people still believe in God. They think God can help them in many ways, if they really believe in God. Even in any kind of money , there is a model "in God we trust".

3.The Western pioneer has many good qualities need us to learn. They are not lazy, they like to make many things independence on themselves. And they like to protect their family use their own tools and guns. They do not rely governemnt or any other organization.

4.Western frontier sprits influence a lot in America, for a fashion way, like jeans. People like to wear jeans until now, but for qualities. They are very self-reliance, is similar with Western pinoeer, they just independence by themselves. They help others and also improve a lot for themselves.

5.America is a free country, the govenment do not like to control people to do something, they just let citizens to explore themselves and must in legal way. That is a good point to attract people come to America. And in this country, they have more opportuinty to do many things you want, and also many challenges.

6. America culture is pluralism. Mant kind of people live in America, they bring their own culture come to here and mix together. Then America like a "Melt-Pot". For example, there are many kind of restaurants at here, whateve what taste you want. You just can choose what you want. That is convenice and good for people. Also is good for explore culture.

7. During the ealry of America until now, there are many immigrants come to America. They think America has more good benefits and good issue to let people live in there and study or work. They like the style of America, so they come to America . During these years, many people come to here and married with an American, then they became an American too.

8. America is an ethnic country, there are many kinds of people live in America. Like white, Africa American, Spanish, Asina and Latino. Thoes can improve America is a "Melt-Pot"country again.

9. I just came to America almost a year, and i really like to reaserch about American culture. When i study in MSU, i think is more convience to let me know more about American culture.

10. America is a mixture country, i think is good to let people explore themselves, and challenging all the time in America. In my opinion is good for us to know what is a indenpendence country.

About my studied place

1. Hello，everyone! This is the first time I write a composition on internet. And this time I want to write about my sutdied place, I gonna to write my personal opinion about it.
2. I studied in a foreign country, and I studied in an English Language Center. Many foreigners study in this program. However most of them do not like it, and they want to get out of this program as soon as they can, and there are many reasons for it.
3. First of all, the tuition is very high. This program charges in accordance with 12 credits, without accommodation and meals' fee. So the total fee is at least 1,500 dollars for one semester.
4. After paying this tuiton we can not get what we really want. For instance, the food is not good enough for the most of Chinese students. They do not adapt the food that in the canteen. Some students from other countries can get food which they like, but we cannot.
5. For the education system, all this program's student must past the placement test and get engough GPA so that they can skip other level to next level. However the student whose GPA is 4 and they did not do well in the placement test they only can go to next level. Some of student absent some classes and they do not work really hard in the program, however they get a good marks in the placement test and they can skip some levels. So the placement test only effect for the people whose English level is better.
6. So I hope this system can be changed, there are many students who studied very hard, and their GPA is 3.5 or more than 4, and they really should be rewarded. Whereas the reward, and the award should not be just a diploma.
7. On the other hand, This program has its advantage. For example, the teachers in ELC. Most of teacher is really helpful to the students. We have classes evry morning at 8 o'clock everyday, and the teachers get up at 6 o'clock to organize the class for us. I recived a mail which was sent at 6 o'clock on that day. We really appericiate to that.
8. Moreover, this program helped us a lot, it really can help us to improve our English level. In this program, all the students who really stuied hard can be at a good English level they except.
9. Last but not the least, in this program there are many foriegners, we came from different countries, it help us to get together and we can talk each other to understand other counties culture clearly.
10. Admittedly, the English Language Center is a good place to learn. However I do not thimk this program is good enough. I really hope that this program to improve itself, and make it better and better.
